🔨 WE’RE HIRING – MULTISKILLED HANDYMAN 🔨

S&R Construction is looking for a reliable, hardworking Multiskilled Handyman to join our growing team, working across Atherstone and surrounding areas.

This role will mainly involve general repairs and maintenance to houses and commercial properties — ideal for someone who’s practical, takes pride in their work and can turn their hand to a variety of jobs.

🏠 Typical work may include:
• General property repairs & maintenance
• Doors, locks, handles & frames
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Painting & decorating
• Fencing, gates & external repairs
• Silicone, sealing & remedial work
• General property upkeep
• Other handyman duties as required

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and trustworthy, can work independently when required and is comfortable dealing with customers.

🚗 Driving licence preferred

💷 Pay to be agreed following interview, based on experience and ability.

📍 Local to Atherstone preferred

WHAT IT’S LIKE WORKING FOR S&R CONSTRUCTION 💪🏗️

Working for S&R Construction feels like working for yourself.

Yes, the boss is the boss — but he’s easy-going, approachable and understands his lads. We work hard, get the job done properly and believe there’s more to life than just work.

Our normal working hours are 8am–3pm.
Anything after that is overtime.

The boss looks after the team too — whether that’s taking the lads out for food and drinks, showing appreciation for the work they put in, or simply understanding that everyone has a life and a family outside of work.

At S&R Construction, we believe in a simple thing:

WORK HARD. EARN WELL. ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

Most men will spend from around 16 to 70 years old working. Spending your whole life working from early morning until late evening isn’t living.

Work is important — but so is getting home to your family, seeing your kids grow up, enjoying your weekends and actually having a life.

We’re a team.
We work hard together.
We look after each other.
And when the working day is done, family comes first. 💙

As we continue to expand, we’ll be looking for new workers to join the team due to the high demand for our services. Within the next couple of weeks, we’ll be looking for new employees.

Another productive day on site and this one is really starting to take shape!

The brickwork is coming along nicely, with plenty of attention going into the detail and finish. It’s always good to see a project progress from the groundwork upwards — and even better when the brickwork looks this sharp.

Still work to be done, but we’re making great progress and looking forward to showing you the finished result.

There’s no one answer because every extension is different. The size of the build, structural work, access and specification all affect the timescale.
