👋 We're Back!

While we've been away from social media, we've been busy doing what we do best—delivering professional grounds maintenance services across the West Midlands.

Over the past few months, we've continued to support our valued clients, invested in new commercial machinery, expanded our services, expanded our operations team and completed a range of exciting projects.

❄️ Gritting Update: Wednesday 25 March ❄️

Our gritting teams will be out tonight from 12am onwards. Due to forecast rain and sleet up until midnight, we’ve scheduled a later start to prevent material from being washed away and to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Temperatures are expected to drop below zero overnight, with frost and icy conditions likely. We have around 18 sites trigged for gritting tonight, covering both roads and footpaths.

❄️ Gritting update - Saturday 14th February ❄️

Wrap up warm if you are out celebrating tonight, is planning for a busy night ahead spreading the love ❤️

With road surface temperatures forecast as low as 1.1°c and Sleet and snow forecast this evening, our teams will be out Treating all our sites in the North only tonight. From around 6pm onwards.

From 11pm onwards sleet/ snow expected into the early hours of tomorrow morning only a dusting is expected with potential for meaninful accumualtions (over an inch) in 200m+ elevations and specific cold spots in the North of the country.

No matter how you are planning to spend your valentines tonight please be careful especially on untreated roads and footpaths.

❄️Winter Grounds Maintenance: Ensuring Safety❄️

While the seasons change, our commitment to maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces remains constant.

As winter approaches, our teams are transitioning to a dedicated winter programme designed to keep your sites safe, accessible, and prepared for the season ahead.

Here is an overview of the key operations we will be undertaking during the colder months.
Ensuring Safety and Accessibility.

Keeping communities moving is our priority. We will proactively manage frost, snow, and ice on all our sites that we maintain thought-out the winter months.

Beyond winter services, our teams will manage leaf clearance and remove fallen debris to mitigate slip hazards and prevent drainage issues.

The mostly dormant season is the ideal window for structural arboriculture work. We will undertake pruning of deciduous trees and shrubs to promote vigorous growth in the spring.

To protect vulnerable planting, we will apply mulch to insulate soil and suppress winter weeds, whilst offering protection for tender species where necessary.

Protecting & Preparing Equipment.

During the winter months, our fleet of machinery will continue to undergo deep cleaning and comprehensive servicing, ensuring peak performance for the start of the cutting season.

Strategic Planning for Spring.

Winter offers us a opportunity to utilise this time to schedule enhancement works for the upcoming year. Where appropriate, we will also introduce winter-interest planting to ensure all our sites and public spaces remain vibrant and attractive throughout the year.

❄️Gritting Update - Tuesday 27th January❄️

Our gritting crews will be rolling out tonight as temperatures are predicted to drop below zero, with frost expected. We have trigged around 22 of our sites tonight that will get treated including roads and footpaths.

❄️ Gritting update - Wednesday 31 December❄️

Wrap up warm if you are out celebrating tonight, is planning for a nippy New Year!

With road surface temperatures forecast as low as -1 this evening, our teams will be out Treating all our sites roads and footpaths from around 6pm onwards.

Tomorrow's forecast shows dry and breezy with sunny spells in the afternoon. RSTs are set to fall below zero in the early hours, so it's likely that gritters will be out again on New Year's Day.

No matter how you are marking the way into 2026, please be careful.

It’s highly unlikely we are going to see any snow across the midlands on Christmas Day.

However with road surface temperatures dropping below -1°c tonight our Gritters are fully loaded and ready to go again (Wednesday 24th December) our team will be starting there routes from 6:30pm onwards.
