My first heat pump installation. Awaiting on volumiser and expansion vessel.

It’s been a while since I last posted. Reason being is I have recently changed career and have become a renewable heating engineer. Still a lot to learn but that’s what makes it all fun.

My first Low Loss Header and Unvented Cylinder installation completed on a Millgate homes site in Ascot. A lot of pipework to get my head around, but I’m pleased I managed to get to the end result.

A low loss header is a method of hydraulic separation between a boiler primary circuit and secondary system circuits.

The secondary return pump hasn’t been installed yet as I’m still waiting for it to arrive on site. However this can easily be installed at a later date.
