A shower enclosure in Croston that was fitted just over a year ago and had leaked every time it was used. I ripped it out back to the bricks, studs, and joists. Re piped it all and replaced the damage floor caused by the leak and reboarded the walls. A longer tray was fitted, and the wet area was fully tanked using Schluter kerdi system before tiling it all, replacing the previous panels. A new enclosure and the existing shower mixer finished the wet area, along with tiling the rest of the bathroom and replacing the existing suite. An uneeded expense for a bathroom that was only just a year old!

Three of the fifteen doors I fitted in this house in Hesketh Bank. I also fitted a new double door frame to allow full sized doors to be fitted, re-boarded and skimmed the wall, and finished it off with new skirting boards and architrave.

The first en-suite of 2024 I completed back in January. A full rip out, re pipe, and reboard allowed me to lower the shower tray, add a shower niche, a geberit concealed cistern, and bring the towel rail pipes straight out the wall. All electrical work was carried out with the help of Hague Electrical. Diffused lighting was added underneath the mirror cabinet and up the back of the concealed cistern and put on a separate switch to allow the diffused lighting to stay on with the main lights switched off. The single light was changed to downlights, and the old surface mounted fan was removed and swapped for a more powerful and quieter in line fine in the attic. I reskimmed and painted the ceiling, so everything was truly new and fresh in the bathroom. The shower area was fully tanked with schluter kerdi sheets, and all pipe work is bent and soldered copper.

I recently finished updating this cloakroom that was long overdue for a refresh. Everything has been replastered and painted, I added a Geberit concealed cistern with a wall-hung pan, a Tissino anthracite towel rail, a cloakroom vanity unit, and an illuminated mirror cabinet. The porcelain oak floor tiles seamlessly flow into the next room as part of a larger project, laid on Schluter Ditra matting, with wall tiles installed on Schluter Kerdi board.
