Buston and Maughan are thrilled to announce some news!

Our contract with South Tyneside Council is still going strong, and we have now secured a new 4 year partnership!

Since 2021, our dedicated teams have worked to deliver reliable heating systems to client and tenants of South Tyneside. This renewed partnership shows the quality of our service and the commitment to their tenants.

We look forward to continuing this journey and delivering our service for years to come.

The Role is to work on social housing contracts across the North East

Essential skills needed:
Appropriate experience working in the Building Construction/Maintenance Industry.
The ability to trace, diagnose and rectify faults.
The ability to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships.
Full, clean driving licence
Qualifications
City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 certificate or equivalent.
18th Edition.
AM2
Desirable
An equivalent electrical installation qualification plus City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
Van and fuel allowance provided.

Combi swaps
Conversions
Full heatings
Working alone and as part of a team , hours of work are 8-4.30 . You will be provided with a van and fuel card.
Only experienced installers will be considered.

NVQ level 2 and 3
All up to date gas qualifications
CSCS , Working at height, Manual handling, Asbestos awareness and CRB check - desirable

David provides over 45 years’ of experience in social housing, having led and transformed some of the sector’s most well-known organisations.

His previous employment history includes:

🔸Managing Director of Kier Maintenance.
🔸Chief Executive for Apollo Group and Keepmoat.
🔸Chief Executive of Engie UK

In his experience David has had oversight of more than 250,000 housing association projects. We believe his deep knowledge, strategic leadership and his hands on experience will ensure he is an asset to our team at Buston and Maughan.

We're thrilled to welcome David on board – a pivotal move for Buston and Maughan as we accelerate our growth and push boundaries in construction and housing.
