This Rayburn needed some attention, unfortunately a common fault with the 600k series. New Hotplate protection plate kit fitted along with a fresh rope seal. Speedy parts supplied by

This was a satisfying job, customer wanted a system clean because the radiators weren’t heating up correctly, the sludge was causing the system to run poorly and inefficiently.
•
Dosed with a bottle of Sentinel X400 and returned at a later date to flush it all out.
•
Returned and flushed out all the existing water out of the system, vacuum cleaned the F&E tank in the loft, fitted a new ball float and dosed the fresh system water with Sentinel X100

This Aga needed a new flue as the existing liner was corroded, complete with some chimney works and it was good to go again. Nice to have Liam to team up with on this one.

Unfortunately this day & age we tend to just… throw away. Not in this case, managed to retrofit a new 2025 complete burner assembly in this 1996 MK2 Rayburn! I’m glad there was a kit available! Luckily Carl C at was there to help
