And just like that, summer has gone! It’s been way too long since our last post, but as you can see we have been extremely busy, loads of the usual top quality fences and gates and some nice variation of other jobs as well. here’s to hoping the last couple of weeks of weather we have been having isn’t now set in for the rest of the winter ⛈️☔️ With winter in mind it would now be a good idea for people to give their fences a good shake, it’s much easier and cheaper to repair a fence if it is still standing and not been blown over already, and may prolong the life of an old fence for a bit longer.

What a super busy time we have had, since the new year we have been flat out trying to keep up with replacing and repairing the storm damaged fences from before Christmas, plenty of variety, even a nice bit of hedgelaying thrown in the mix.
Long may this dry weather continue it’s been an absolute treat not having to be working in leaky waterproofs constantly 🥴

Wow, What a year we have had! Here are a few pics of the last jobs we completed that took us up to Christmas, two storms two weeks apart meant that we were completely flat out trying to fit people in to fix and prop up fences, apologies to anyone we couldn’t get to in this time.

In these pics you will see a great variety of what we offer, including the usual top quality fences we managed to get some hedgelaying done and also cleared up some fallen trees after the storms.

Looking towards 2025 we have some really exciting projects coming up in the new year, currently booking up March now so don’t delay if you would like to get us booked in before the spring.

Lastly we hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and we wish everyone a happy new year 🎉🎉🎉

Here we have a snapshot of our time spent down at Alturnun, loads of variety for us to sink our teeth into, including a lovely picket fence and raised beds for a veg patch, an 8mx3m field shelter/haystore and a secure storage shed, pleased the weather has been kind of late after the summer we had, looks like it may get a tad chilly next week 🥶

Here we have the biggest project we have completed to date, a lovely new sand school 😀 every aspect of this project was completed by ourselves, lots and lots of research and tons of lessons learned throughout but we are over the moon with the finished results even if the weather didn’t want to play ball! A big thanks to Timber Store UK Limited - Tavistock for supplying the fencing materials and the teram, and the lorry drivers from heidlberg for negotiating the very tight access 👌🏻

Here are some recent projects we have completed, firstly a contemporary looking DuraPost fence using the 25 year guarantee anthracite grey posts paired with the slatted Tuscan panels from Timber Store UK Limited - Tavistock.
Then we moved onto Bellever woods to rebuild an old granite dry stone wall and get it looking as good as the pair of gates we installed there about 6 weeks ago, hard graft but well worth it, big thanks to Gerald (Dad) for his help with this as it wouldn’t look half has good without his skilled eye, we are very lucky to have him teaching us this skilled art.
Finally we have have a lovely feather edged fence sat on nice chunky uc4 gravel boards and on wooden 4x4 posts, now the customers have a fence to compliment their lovely garden.

Super busy times and no let up coming anytime soon, some really cool projects coming up to look forward to over the summer 🌞👌🏻

Here’s a little selection of what we have been up to lately, lots of feather edging, some hit and miss, a couple of gates, wooden, concrete and DuraPost, and replacement of some raised beds using sleepers a fine selection if we must say so ourselves 🙂 weather has been a constant battle in what must be the worst winter in recent times, fingers crossed spring is looking like it’s finally starting to appear,
