In the woods this morning getting handles, some excellent stuff in there and 5 mins from home, spade head's turned up in good time I've a few to be getting on with.
Just need to peel and season the handles.

This is the main man and legend Jack Connabeer, he was a true gent and countryman without him I don't think I would be doing what I do today.
When teaching he was patient, firm and fair I spent many days in the company of this man , he started the drst with others and his legacy continues.

Can also split big stone into gateposts , and dress all seen edges too so there is a nice arris👌

Well yer tiz, a few different types of Devon stone faced banks, showing the differences in stone and styles.
There are a few different ways to build using the different stone types, and all the wallers I know have different variations, I'm hoping to go through a few in some upcoming videos, and I will be showcasing Devon spades too😁.
