Much of this week has been spent developing proposals for the extension and remodelling of this traditional property.

Previous alterations had introduced a more contemporary appearance, whereas the current approach seeks to restore a stronger traditional character, with new extensions designed to sit naturally alongside the original house and appear as though they have always been part of it.

Careful attention has been given to proportion, roof form and material detailing to create a cohesive overall composition.

A good way to finish the week with another Planning Approval secured.

This scheme progressed through a detailed pre-application enquiry process, which proved extremely worthwhile and helped streamline the main application stage.

The project will transform an existing 1960s detached house through a series of wrap-around extensions and external alterations, giving the property a completely new appearance and a much stronger connection to the garden spaces.
