To finish Decembers kitchen project, this little shaped drawer box to go in the small under stairs cabinet. It finishes the design off beautifully while making it a more accessible space to use and mirrors the tall larder pull out on the opposite end. All handmade in my workshop in Mid-Wales

2025 has finished with this compact, very snug arrangement for utilising this under stairs space in a very tight kitchen to maximise storage and appliance space. There is a drawer left to make for the smaller angled unit but for now, it is usable as an odd shaped cubby! This project also included a new island units with drawer and cabinet storage with a wraparound panel design that I really love! It’s been an interesting project for sure and a nice challenge to close out the year on! Merry Christmas everyone and have a fantastic 2026!

The latest project this year is now complete, what started as an empty room with a window looking into a warehouse and grubby marked walls riddled with fixing holes has transformed into a clean, bright, clinical Lab room with plenty of storage.

Bespoke fitted wardrobe made in my humble little workshop and assembled and fitted on site. The cabinets are made from white oak veneered MDF with matching edging. The drawers are solid oak with Blum soft close drawer runners and the doors are Tulip wood frames and moisture resistant MDF panels, spray finished with modern eggshell. Just one shelf to make and edge with solid oak and drop onto the shelf pegs! Turns out I can fit one more in.

Bespoke fitted wardrobe made in my humble little workshop and assembled and fitted on site. The cabinets are made from white oak veneered MDF with matching edging. A quick one the other day sorting some slatted shelving in an airing cupboard (and an extra handrail up the stairs that wasn’t photographed!) The clients only had the one shelf in here and wanted to make better use of the space. So a second shelf was added above the first and I made some free standing (sort of) shelves just inside the door. With little to no wall space available I had to use two posts to secure some simple framework, as sparse as possible to keep access to required valves behind, and two removable shelves sat on the rails. And a few extra rails put in to help avoid things falling off around the edges.

A few weeks overdue posting this one but a recent big (ish) project finished (for now at least). A bungalow renovation with all new door frames, doors, flooring through the hallway, living room and dining room, new oak skirting, architraves, dado rail and window boards, new oak external door frame with patterned glass panel and oak external door and some built in shelves and coat racks in the hallway cupboards. Quite alot of work to get through and some very happy customers!

Out with the old (I forgot to get a photo of that!) and in with the new! New oak front door installed in a new oak door frame a decorative glass panel to be installed next to it when it arrives. The door frame was made offsite with the lock and hinges fit into the door ready for installation. The door itself is a perfect match for the style of the new internal doors and the same style handles have been used all round.

WIP on my current project! Tons of work done so far and still a bit to go! All new oak door frames, veneered oak doors, engineered oak flooring through the living room, dining room and hallway done so far. All new oak architraves and skirting, window boards and new front door and frame being done right now and then some shelves and coat rails in the hallway cupboards and dado rail through the hallway. Definitely heading toward the finish line now but I’ve still got a bit of work to do. Keep an eye out on here for the end result! ( I definitely should have got some photos before I started to properly show the contrast!)
