🏠 Another one completed by the TradeTrix team!

We've just finished a full garage conversion for a lovely family in the local area — turning an unused garage into a bright, freshly plastered home office with a separate storage room, complete with recessed lighting and a new radiator. Ready to paint and move straight in.

But we didn't stop there. On the same job we also:
✅ Opened up the kitchen/dining area by removing an internal wall
✅ Blocked off a door between the lounge and dining room
✅ Plastered all downstairs ceilings
✅ Fitted a new rubber roof to the summer house

Most projects are considered Permitted Development, so you won't need to worry about getting full planning permission as long as the work is internal and doesn't expand the building.

Now, let's talk costs. They vary depending on the type of garage and how fancy you want to get with the interior. Here are some rough estimates based on previous jobs in 2025.

* Single garage (around 15-18m²): £10,000-£20,000
* Double garage (around 36m²): £20,000-£45,000+
* Partial conversion (keeping some space for storage): £5,000-£12,000
