Another happy client and another build we’re incredibly proud of. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This project was especially meaningful to us. We designed and fitted a kitchen that works perfectly for our client and her wheelchair, creating a space that is not only beautiful but practical and comfortable to use every day.

Deciding to build an extension, refurb your property, or redesign your space for adaptive disabled works is never going to be cheap.

Before spending your hard earned money, make sure to do a little homework first to make sure your money and building project is going to be in safe hands

We always recommend folks to:

👍🏽 Get at least 3 quotes - this gives you a chance to meet different builders.
An extension can be around 12 weeks… you need to at least like the builders who are going to be a big part of your day-to-day life for at least 3 months.

👍🏽 Ask for a detailed quote once you are happy with ballpark pricing - what is included, what’s not, when are payments expected, what is the builders process for additional works or add-ons?

👍🏽 Check references and testimonials of builders, look at their pictures and videos, stalk their socials, read their blog - get a feel for how they conduct themselves as a company. Are they a professional service that you feel confident can deliver your building project on time and to budget?

A reputable building company will not mind you asking to see their references, insurances, or even speak with past clients

Cheap doesn't mean better - be careful of those builders who come in too cheap compared to other quotes, it normally means they're about it bang in a load of extras at the end 😱

Meet the men behind WS Building Services - Rob and Craig 👷👷

Rob Spink, is a master all-round tradesman who started his building journey at Shrewsbury college, first mastering bricklaying before moving on to master the complimentary trades to become a all-round tradesmen.

Rob’s superpower is tricky builds, and finding the best solution for the client. When others have said something couldn't be done, Rob finds the way!

In WS, Rob is the power driver behind our team. Rob organises our extension sites and teams, and make sure the clients build goes to plan, on time and to budget 👊🏽

Rob is a married to Sian, a father to 4, an avid football fan, and manager of local youth football teams, and is owned by a Mastiff called Burt 🐶

Craig is also an all-round master tradesman, who started his building journey as a young boy, working alongside his builder dad, renovating and extending their family homes.

Once grown, Craig also attended Shrewsbury college to become a qualified builder and to hone his building skills.

Craig’s superpower is the details, and creating the solutions for the best way to work with our clients, team, and business. Craig is brilliant at finding options, and making it work for everyone on the project - Craig prides himself in making every situation a win-win.

In WS, Craig is the man behind the emails, quotes and quality control for our local council and commercial contracts.

Craig is married to Kelly, is a father of 4, a grandad of 3, and an avid fitness and wellness enthusiast. Craig is owned by two French bulldogs called Lexie and Koda. 🐶🐶

The lads came togther working for a local building company, back in the early 2010’s and got on so well, with the same work ethic, humour, and love of the trade, it made sense that they would start their own business… in 2015 WS Building Services was born, and has gone from strength to strength 👊🏽

11 years on, and WS is an in demand and trusted local builder, with a team of highly skilled tradesmen who can handle every part of your build, from digging the footings, to the last lick of paint on a finished project
