Bracken (eagle fern), has extensive underground stem networks, that regrow every spring. Lots of strimming, and lawns mowing, however rain midway. There are ways to manage this though. Short break; and risk assess (quantity), then limited mowing layering of meadow grass. There's often lots of bramble here - and holly too, especially in woody sections. Maintaining holly and limiting bramble cover is done manually (not strimming or mowing). Light strim finish of meadow grass, then a smaller lawn, completely strimmed. Top layer technique is crucial, especially strimming around edges where undefined (not bordered, if not making borders), otherwise edging shears, keeps those edges tidy

It's great to see some of my earlier seasons work maturing. I planted these stunning mexican daises for a customer, along approximately 20ft of borders and now they're now blooming beautifully 💮

Today included weeding, strimming, mowing lawn borders around wildflowers, edging & patio washing. I do not for some reason, have before/after pictures in the right places, so limited sharing
