📣📣📣 We are looking for Electrical Apprentices to join our ever growing team - 1st Year and 2nd / 3rd Year 📣📣📣

We are looking for a candidate/s who are enthusiastic, committed and determined to achieve their goals, in return we offer a friendly working environment with excellent training and the opportunity to build a long term career with us.

During your 4 year apprenticeship, your journey to become a qualified electrical engineer will see you gain all the necessary skills required to work on and install a wide range of electrical installations.

Bolt Electrical cover all aspects of the industry ranging from domestic work, new build houses and renovations to heavy duty industrial installations, so no two days are the same.

You would be working as part of a small team reporting to a highly skilled qualified engineer within that team working onsite for 4 days of the week. One day a week would then be dedicated to college where you would work towards completing your NVQ and passing the necessary exams, with full support from us.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over, and must hold a full UK driving licence. Ideally candidates will have GCSE grade C or grade 4 in Maths, English and Science, although this can be achieved in college if necessary.

No specific work experience is necessary; applicants are expected to have a strong work ethic, solid practical working skills, right to work in the UK, and positive employment or character references.

We are also actively seeking 2nd and 3rd year apprentices to join our team. Hopefully with a good amount of experience to hit the ground running. You would receive unrivalled continued support from us to help complete your apprenticeship and then to go on and progress through the company

The government offers grants to support the wider use of electric and hybrid vehicles via the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), for the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme 🤩

The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) provides grant funding of up to 75% towards the cost of installing electric vehicle chargepoints at domestic properties across the UK.

Due to the progression in the studies of our current apprentices, we are looking to recruit a first year apprentice on to the team.

The successful applicant(s) will be required to carry out Electrical works on domestic, commercial and industrial premises, covering the full scope of electrical installations.

The successful candidate(s) will be enrolled in to an NVQ Level 3 electrical apprenticeship at a Gloucestershire college, which would be required to attend one day a week and 4 days a week would be spent on site.

We would be looking for an ambitious team player, who is not afraid of hard work, able to cope with a physically demanding job role and has a willingness to learn.

Due to the volume of work required on construction sites, applicants can only be considered aged 18+.

Full driving licence required.

Ideal qualifications Grade 4 (C) or above, in English Maths and Science.

The Directors of Bolt Electrical have a long history in training apprentices and since establishment in 2017, have employed and are continuing to train 3 loyal apprentices within the business; priding themselves in providing first class on the job training and support.
