I had an incredible weekend at the AWGB Seminar, thanks to a bursary I was fortunate enough to receive from AWGB and the worshipful company of turners I had the opportunity to watch some outstanding demonstrations by talented professionals, including Marot , , Breach, Rolly , Bolger, and Mick Hanbury. I also treated myself to some new tools from Simon Hope, a bowl gauge from Ashley Iles, and some new paints from Jo Sonja's UK. Once again, a big thank you to AWGB and The worshipful company of turners for an amazing weekend!

Tonight in the workshop, I made a natural edge bowl from a piece of maple burl. I’ve got to say, this is probably the prettiest wood I’ve ever turned. The camera just doesn’t do it justice.
