We are looking for a bricklayer/ mason with experience in all or some of the following:

- Bricklaying- Lime and cement
- Flintwork – lime and cement
- General Lime works
- Working on listed and Historic buildings
- General building

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and always produces the best results, although speed is important, the final product is what matters to us. We have a very good reputation and work for some prestigious clients and institutions, so this is very important to us.

Ideal but not essential- CSCS card, any related qualification/ NVQ/ city & guilds, general H&S courses inc site safety plus, first aid etc

Location: We are based in central Norfolk, all of our building/ conservation work is within Norfolk, or very occasionally on the Suffolk/ Cambridge borders.

We are Hiring a Carpenter, Decorator, Multi Skilled Tradesperson and a Mason/ Bricklayer for Historic building work in Norfolk

We are looking to take on the above with historical building experience to work on a wide variety of projects from private houses to country halls and churches and even royal properties. Ideally this will be someone who is already experienced in conservation works, although anyone with similar experience in general building/ contracting etc would also be suitable if willing to learn traditional construction techniques. The job will take you to some very interesting places and will especially suit someone with an interest in historic buildings although this is not a requirement.
We are very much looking for someone who takes pride in their work and always produces the best results, although speed is important, the final product is what matters to us. We have a very good reputation and work for some prestigious clients and institutions, so this is very important to us.

Ideal Skills- Experience in any of these is a requirement- the more the better, obviously we are hiring a few different trades- so obviously relevant to the specific trade

Bricklaying- Lime and cement
General building
Flint work – lime and cement
General Lime works
Stone Masonry
Site Foreman experience
Carpentry- General 1st/ 2nd fix
Carpentry- Joinery
Carpentry- Historic oak
Plastering- Lime and Gypsum

Decorating- including limewash clay paints but also linseed oil paints and regular emulsions and glosswork etc.

Bricklayers wanted!

We are looking to take on Bricklayers with new and historical building experience to work on a wide variety of projects from private houses to country halls, churches and other historic buildings

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and always produces the best results, although speed is important, the final product is what matters to us. We have a very good reputation and work for some prestigious clients and institutions, so this is very important to us. The day to day work will vary a lot, from flint walls to ornamental brickwork, new work and historic brickwork repairs

Ideal Skills- Experience in any of these is a requirement- the more the better

General Brick laying – new and historic work

Refurb work

Repointing

Heritage brick repairs

Flintwork lime and cement

Stonework (fixing or masonry)

Experience working with lime mortars (Hydraulic, Putty, Hot Mix) and additives, pozzolans etc- we can give training on additives and other lime types

Ideal but not essential- CSCS card, any related qualification/ NVQ/ city & guilds, general H&S courses inc site safety plus, first aid etc

Hiring Carpenters!

We are looking for time served carpenters to join our team. Also considering sub contractors for continuous or one off work. Lots of grant aided recession proof works throughout this year and lots coming in.
We are a family owned and operated building company based in central Norfolk. We have a reputation for being highly customer focused and producing work of exceptional quality. We mostly undertake conservation/ heritage building works on historic & listed buildings but also do all types of general building (new build, extension, refurbishment).
Who we’re looking for:
Ideally someone who is looking to do things the right way, takes pride in their work and always works to the highest standards.
You will work on your own and with a very skilled team of guys with exceptionally good work ethics and be supported by our office team day to day. The work is very varied, from historic oak roofs to first and second fix in new build (our own projects only)
Desired skills (some or all of the below)
• Roofing carpentry (pitched & flat roofs, dormers etc)
• Experience working with oak
• Heritage carpentry experience
• 1st & 2nd Fix carpentry in new/ refurbishment work
• Joinery experience
• Any other building experience on top of carpentry is advantageous
• Any qualifications, CSCS and H&S accreditations is advantageous
Requirements:
• Must have a driving licence
Work location
Most of our work is in Norfolk with our yard based in central Norfolk- your location is important central Norfolk being the best as we work in the entire county to Suffolk and Cambridge borders
Schedule
Full time Mon- Fri 0700- 16:00 (Leave home at 7am, leave site at 4:pm paid 1 way) 30mins morning 45 mins afternoon breaks.
Salary
Negotiable depending on experience- we are happy to pay for the right person! 28 days holiday a year (inc bank holidays), If on the books a company van will be provided (work use only) and the usual Work clothes & PPE etc.

This includes a new oak roof, masonry works, new lead roof and the absolutely incredible new spirelet hand carved by us in house by one of our amazing craftsman.
