It doesn’t happen often….but not a customers transformation this time, it’s actually my own garden project.

Me and my wife had a rough idea/vision of what we wanted for our garden project. We started our design by sectioning the garden into different areas and what we wanted in each.

We started with laying composite decking and erecting an anthracite metal pagoda. We went onto selecting and laying the porcelain slabs for our dining area and walk way. We liked the vision of a stone circle and a bistro area, so we incorporated this on the opposite side, along with the sleeper beds. We added grey/white gravel mix in between areas to combine all the different colours together, and mainly to keep everything neat and tidy under the trampoline! Added extras was the tranquil oriental inspired raised bed and the water fountain.

We try our best to source materials and products locally, which we have managed to do, apart from a couple of items.

To say we are pleased with the end result is an understatement!

So finally after waiting for some materials to arrive to finish off the outside of this three bay garage and one bed flat. I can finally show you all some pictures. A lot of work has gone into this and the customers are highly delighted with it. Many thanks to G w & J ward, Dave Almack and sons and Sid Clark for all there hard work too.

Latest job for a returning customer in a village between Thirsk and Northallerton. Building a new three bay garage with one bedroom annex to the first floor. Will keep you updated as the build processes.

Before and after pictures of our latest kitchen refit job in Northallerton. My customer went for a modern grey gloss with handleless fronts and a marble looking worktop with splash backs to match. All appliances are integrated for a nice sleek look

Haven’t posted in a while so let’s get back into it. Lovely job in Sowerby finished today. Porch to the back of the house, somewhere nice for the customer to sit and enjoy their garden. They are highly delighted with the finish.

Latest job we are working on. Progress so far but still a lot to do. Knocked down old conservatory and extension to form new open plan kitchen/family room with bifolds looking out into garden. Can’t wait to show you all when it’s finished.

We are currently looking for a general builder/experienced labourer. Hour rates for position will depend on experience. A full driving licence is essential to allow you to get from site to site. The role needs to be applied for by candidates who are hardworking, experienced in all aspects of the construction industry, punctual and willing to learn as opportunities to progress will be given.

The job will entail all aspects of building from groundwork’s, joinery, plastering, kitchen fitting, roofing & bricklaying.

Returning back to north Stainley this week. Laid some sandstone to form a raised patio. Also put 100 x 100 Raj green setts to outline the lawn finished off with mushroom easy joint pointing.
