Cheap security tip:
🔒 Keep doors locked – even when you’re home.
It costs nothing, takes seconds, and stops most opportunistic break-ins. Lock front, back, and side doors, especially at night or when you’re in the garden.
Extra easy wins:
• Lock doors as part of a bedtime routine
• Use deadbolts, not just the latch
• Don’t rely on “I’ll just pop out for a minute”

We’ve had a small number of reports through January, and we want to reassure you that we’re taking them extremely seriously. Our Neighbourhood Team has increased patrols in the area to offer extra visibility and reassurance. If you see us out and about, please do feel free to stop and chat - we’re here to help. Behind the scenes, our dedicated burglary team is working hard to investigate these reports and support those affected.
