This seems to be the year for twin calves. This is the 12th set we’ve had this year so far.

Caithness gears up for annual Young Farmers Overwintering Competition 🏆

This years event will take place at Caithness Livestock Centre on Monday 6th April, alongside the show and sale of 1,300 store cattle, including native-breed entries

🐮 A total of 18 calves will be showcased at the event, comprising 10 heifers and 8 bullocks

Judging will commence at 8:30am with Ian Pirie of Overton of Bruxie, Maud, presiding over this year’s entries
