🎃🎃🎃Please Share - Don't get caught out this Halloween. 🎃🎃🎃

Every year we get lots of customers contacting us about pumpkin disasters where the pumpkins have stained or marked the stone floor, fireplace or worktop.

This isn't helped by the candles as this heats up the pumpkin and makes it sweat on the surface. The best way is to use placemats, protective covers or sheets to protect the surface from the pumpkin. This week we have fully restored and protected a stunning in . Putting down one of our premium gloss finish protectors to really set the floor off.

We have also fully a beautiful floor in which had been down for over 20 years. We stripped it back, sealed it and set the stone off with a commercial grade Matt finish wax.

Our project this week was to clean and seal part of a terracotta floor and then strip as much linseed oil out of the new part of the floor to lighten it as much as possible after a mistake was made when ordering.

The suppliers had put so much linseed oil deep in the tile that it was impossible to remove all of it so it was never going to be perfect unfortunately, but our client just didn’t want it looking the way it did so set us to work.
