As an independent business owner, I take great pride in providing excellent customer service and clear communication from start to finish.
When I'm contacted about potential work, I make the time to arrange a site visit, discuss your requirements, assess the project, and then spend additional time preparing and writing a detailed quotation.
Unfortunately, it's becoming increasingly common to receive no response at all after sending a quote—not even a quick message to say you've decided to go in a different direction.
I completely understand that people lead busy lives, but a simple reply only takes a minute and is greatly appreciated. Good communication works both ways, and a quick update helps small businesses manage their time and workload more effectively.
Thank you to all the customers who take the time to respond, whether the answer is yes or no—it really does make a difference.
