A recent fencing project completed in Tiverton.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Quality fencing does far more than mark a boundary. It improves privacy, creates structure within the garden and has a huge influence on how a property looks and feels from the outside.

For this project, the aim was to create something that felt in keeping with the property while providing a durable, long-term solution for the homeowners.

A new project underway in Mid Devon and one we’re loving getting stuck into 🔨

This project in Ottery St Mary started with a simple problem.

The front garden wasn’t really working for the homeowners. A large established clematis and overgrown planting had gradually taken over the space, leaving very little practical room for parking. As a result, both cars were regularly being left down the road.

With a new arrival on the way and a tight deadline to work to, they wanted a driveway that was easy to use day-to-day, looked smart from the road and comfortably accommodated two vehicles.

We cleared the site, removed the existing planting, reshaped the space and installed new fencing to create a much cleaner, more organised frontage.

The result is a property that feels larger, tidier and significantly more practical for modern family life. Two vehicles can now be parked comfortably off-road, access is straightforward and the whole front of the house feels smarter.

Projects like this are a great reminder that improving a home isn’t always about adding something new. Sometimes it’s about making better use of the space that’s already there. The difference to everyday living can be huge, and it certainly doesn’t hurt the overall appeal of the property either.

We’re chuffed with how this one turned out! 🔨

These pieces were made for as part of the launch of a local village shop - including bespoke shelving, display units, picnic benches and timber storage pieces, all built to suit the space and the way the shop would actually function day to day.

A lot of commercial furniture now is flat-pack, lightweight and built to be replaced in a few years. We take a different approach, with solid timber, practical construction methods and pieces designed around the setting they’re going into.
