Process of Fibreglass removal from a factory floor for increased health and safety - with minimal disruption to factory production!

We were tasked with the removal of 5cm thick of fibreglass buildup from a concrete floor. The unevenness was causing health and safety issues - particularly for the forklift trucks.

Our method was to employ our electric breaker followed by our heavy duty planetary grinder with pcd tools.

We achieved a great result removing about 200m2 in less than two days with minimal disruption to the factory production process.

ACS Floor Grind carried out remedial works to this newly laid self-levelling screed to remove lumps, grout holes, polish and seal.

This client was left with a self-levelling screed which had lumps and holes in the surface. We had to make it a finished floor by grouting the holes, polishing, and sealing.
