This is a plea to our UK government that our shop workers, people serving customers every day need protective clothing and better measures in store so they are safe as well. They deal with hundreds of people every day and serve us all so we can keep our fridge and cupboards full, they take a risk mixing with people every day, they risk their health and their families who they return home to every day. They to need support and protection from this virus. Supermarkets and shops need to have stricter measures, sanitary stations at trolleys, baskets and give them the investment of protection like they are investing their time. Please protect them, please be patient and respectful of the work they are doing. Our NHS staff rightfully so need your help and support but we must protect people working every day as well so they decrease further spread for our NHS and keep them all safe 💙
