We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our busy electronic fire and security company in Tonbridge Kent.

The role would consist of visiting our commercial, domestic and public sector customers throughout London and the South East to carry out service and maintenance work on our Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Gate Automation and Emergency Lighting systems. Although the role is mainly Routine Maintenance and Reactive Callouts, some installation work may be involved.

You should have several years experience with Intruder Alarms including Remote Monitoring and Fire Alarm Systems to NSI/SSAIB and BAFE standards. Good knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Gate Automation and Emergency Lighting is preferred. Excellent fault finding skills are needed and the ability to not only be self sufficient, but also part of our team.

A full driving licence is essential. Company van, laptop, etc is provided

Role details:
The role would consist of visiting our commercial, domestic and public sector customers throughout London and the South East with one of our engineers, to carry out various installation, service and maintenance work on our Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Gate Automation and Emergency Lighting systems.

Full on the job training given, complimented by manufacturer courses, to help you progress to an installation/service engineer with us.

Requirements:
A full driving licence and own transport is essential.

Salary:
£18,000 - £22,000 + overtime

Here are 3 fire safety tips for your building:

1. Have fire detection on every level and test them regularly

2. Regularly make sure that every occupant of the building knows what to do in case of a fire. Have fire drills every second month or so, so that it becomes second nature.

3. Ensure you have fire protection such as fire extinguishers and that their location is common knowledge.
