Exciting opportunity for a Plumbing & Heating Engineer up to 40k per annum

We are looking for an employee with the following qualifications and skills - Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• Gas safe and, or OFTEC qualifications
• Water Regs
• Unvented hot water
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent or have attended a recognised apprenticeship course and
have a preferred minimum of 5 years independent experience.
• Basic electrical competency
• Proven experience at first and second fix plumbing & heating systems.
• Proven experience in boiler servicing and fault finding.
• Experience with kitchen and bathroom installations and working alongside other trades.
• A valid full UK driving license.
• Self-motivation and a willingness to tackle all jobs with enthusiasm and attention to
detail - whether it’s a large project or a small simple job.
• Good digital record keeping skills, the competence to ensure the relevant
documentation is attached to the work records including invoices and job notes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to work under
pressure
• The capability to work both unsupervised and as part of a small close-knit team and to
share skills, experience and knowledge
• Your own basic set of tools and equipment.
Desirable:
• OFTEC
• LPG
• A knowledge of underfloor heating
• Experience of working with ground source and or / air source heating
• The willingness to cover emergency calls out of hours as and when required to cover
holidays and occasional weekends
• Tiling & general building knowledge
• Ability to teach others and support apprentices.

�Job responsibilities:
• Installation, repair and maintenance of all aspects of domestic plumbing and heating systems. Including but not limited to - pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, central heating, gas, oil, electrical and renewables.�* Collaborate with general contractors, electricians and other professionals during the job.
• Adhere to all building codes and regulations.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practise.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing, heating and drainage systems identifying and
diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Complete light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and
electrical work as required.

• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
The successful candidate will receive:
• 30k to 40k per annum, dependant on experience.
• A competitive salary based on a 40 hour week Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30 with
flexibility.
