Safe removal of an old rusty fire escape that had seen better days.

Big thanks to Safeway Scaffolding 🙏 for sorting a safe working platform, allowing us to cut the staircase down in sections and get it removed safely.

Once down, all openings were bricked up and patch repaired to match in.

Another job completed in Paignton ✔️

We replaced a tired mix of white and grey guttering with sleek half-round black guttering, giving this bungalow a much cleaner, modern look.

While on site, the customer also pointed out a couple of slipped tiles, which we quickly refitted to keep everything secure and watertight.

Kitchen floor transformed ✨

We installed a self-levelling compound to create a perfectly flat base before laying the tiles. Careful planning of the layout meant we could run full tiles into the back door and centre a full tile in the middle of the room.

It’s these small details and taking the time on the setup that really make the finished job stand out 🙏

The customer had already prepped everything with the tile backer, so it was time for me to step in and work some magic. The result? A bold, welcoming porch that really stands out and sets the tone before you even step inside.

Customer had a previous patch job on the mortar joints with no depth—but it wasn’t holding up (and not the tidiest either). So I cut out all joints along the back wall and lead flashing, then fully repointed for a proper finish.

Once cured, I treated it with Stormdry for long-lasting, breathable waterproof protection.
