๐Ÿ† We're looking forward to attending The MJ Achievement Awards 2026 with Torbay Council this Friday!

With the awards celebrating excellence in local government, Torbay Council has entered the Innovation in Housing category with its Hotels to Homes model, using Brampton House as an example.

Delivered by Armada Property UK in partnership with the Council, the project transformed the former Brampton Court Hotel in Torquay into 14 high-quality affordable homes for social rent.

Keep your fingers crossed! ๐Ÿคž

Great to see both ourselves and Nevada Construction Ltd shortlisted in the Regeneration & Conservation category of the CESW Awards this year. ๐Ÿฅณ

Itโ€™s especially pleasing to see two businesses with shared roots in Teignmouthโ€”where we were originally based and still maintain a presence todayโ€”being recognised on a wider stage.๐Ÿ“

Weโ€™ve known the Nevada team for years, so whatever happens on the night, itโ€™s a great result for Teignmouth and Devon business alike!๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿค Recently, we helped our friends at Co Create Architects with their fantastic Environmental Day 2026 project in Kingskerswell.

A team of volunteers spent the day helping to build a new covered area for the Kingskerswell Navigators Youth Club, something Co Create prepared the planning application for back in 2024.

Armada helped by arranging for all materials to be donated by Bradford's and supplied to Matt Deprez, one of our project team. Matt then helped and guided the Co Create team to create a great covered area.

This will now give the youth group a much more usable space during wetter months and help future activities continue throughout the year.

๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Construction update: Cat & Fiddle Pub Refurbishment ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

We are pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the refurbishment works at the Cat & Fiddle Inn (Clyst St Mary, Exeter) have now been completed.

This initial phase has focused on stabilising and upgrading key elements of the building, laying a strong foundation for its full transformation.

With this milestone achieved, we are now preparing to move into Phase 2, which will focus on bringing the pub back into operational use.

This next stage will see the character and energy of the Cat & Fiddle restored, creating a welcoming and vibrant space for the local community once again.

Weโ€™re excited to continue this journey and look forward to breathing new life into this fantastic pub.

Do keep an eye on our social media pages for any updates ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ› ๐ŸŽป.

๐Ÿ™ Thank you Michelmores Property Awards for shortlisting Brampton House in the Residential Project of the Year (35 homes and under) category this year!

We're so proud of this project that we've worked on in partnership with Torbay Council, Co Create Architects and Principality Building Society. The conversion of Brampton Court Hotel in Torquay into 14 affordable homes for social rent has been recognised by prestigious award bodies again and again.

Fingers crossed for 25th June when the winners will be announced! ๐Ÿคž

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ We are pleased to announce that we have started work on a new project in partnership with St Petrock & Heavitree Parish Lands Charity, supporting the refurbishment of much-needed almshouse accommodation in Exeter.

๐Ÿ‘ท The first phase starts at Frances Gardens where we are upgrading some of the 12 ground and first-floor flats. Once complete, the upgrades will help ensure the flats continue to provide safe, comfortable and independent living for current and future residents.

We've always admired this local charity's work. They provide housing for people aged 55+ who are able to live independently but are on a low income and have a strong local connection to Exeter. It's important that local people feel supported, and we're only too pleased to be working on these upgrades to ensure the flats provide a safe and comfortable home for years to come.

Once our work at Frances Gardens is complete, we will be moving on to work on two additional properties in the city owned by the charity. We'll keep our social media pages updated so that you can see the progress!
