From Sketch to Submission!

A beautiful stone and glass kitchen extension - design in collaboration with Post & Beam Ltd through our new BAARN Rooms service - has just gone in for planning with Cornwall Council. With its hand‑crafted timber frame and light‑filled design, this space will become a dream spot for cooking, baking, and enjoying views across the garden.

We’ll be sharing the journey as this one moves forward

Phase 2 of this BAARN microhome in Cornwall is almost complete. Featuring two bedrooms, an exposed oak frame by Post & Beam Ltd, a coated standing seam metal roof, natural breathable insulation, and fixed UK-grown larch louvres to help prevent overheating during the summer, this home combines thoughtful design with sustainable, low-energy living.

Exciting news just in time for the weekend: the latest holiday cottage at Stones Field has officially secured planning approval. Echoing the character of the existing cottages, this new two‑storey, two‑bedroom hideaway will soon offer another beautiful place to stay in this idyllic corner of Wales. Now the real question… what colour will this one be. IYKYK!
