You never know what's hiding underneath the paint.
This porch pillar had rot right around the base. Once the old paint came off, it was far worse than it looked. Rather than replace the whole pillar, I repaired it properly with DRY FLEX 4, a two part epoxy resin thay cures stronger than the original timber.
The prep, the repair, the finish. This is what proper exterior restoration looks like.
