Today’s task was to tackle two very overgrown areas. With everything getting so dry, it was the perfect opportunity to give both areas a good reset, clearing away the excess growth and giving everything the best chance for some fresh new growth — creating a better environment for the local wildlife to thrive! 🐝

A big thank you to Shinners Bridge Garden Machinery for supplying the equipment we needed, making light work of the first job!

The second job saw us rescuing a very suffocated Devon bank. The brambles had completely taken over, making it difficult for the existing hedge to properly develop and thrive. We’ve made a great start and will be returning soon to complete the rest of the bank.

Another productive day in the books! Happy days 👍🏻

🚨Check out this incredible transformation🚨

The team at Dartside have been incredibly busy recently, and what an amazing job they've done as always!

The owner of this lovely village cottage wanted to give her garden a complete overhaul, the hedge was becoming difficult to manage, the patio had seen better days and the grass had almost given up.

The idea was to keep as close to the old cottage theme as possible, rustic & dated whilst offering a warm Mediterranean feel.

A lot of lovely stone came out whilst removing the hedge, we decided to recycle and reuse this to strengthen the opposing bank, further contributing to the desired theme.

Phase 1 - Remove the hedge and install 21 metres of feather edge fencing ☑️

Phase 2 - Install 66m2 of Buff Indian sandstone and edging ☑️

Almost a disaster! A customer of ours had this tree come down above her pergola, only held up by a small clump of hazel.

Our job was to safely dismantle the limbs down to a point that still offered screening to the neighbouring property, without damaging the newly installed pergola.

Mission success.
