ENVIRONMENT MATTERS
The ICS Cool Energy Marketing Team have been making good use of their annual day to clean up an area beside the in Southampton.
With permission from the Hamble Harbour Master, their efforts were focused on the path between Warsash and Swanick, where lots of litter along the river's edge needed picking up & disposing of correctly due to the negative impact it has on the environment, especially the various species of birds that roost in the wetlands there.
From cans and sweet wrappers to old hats and hoover parts, they saw & collected it all. It is so important to stress that by simply cleaning up after oneself and taking rubbish home or using the council bins which are everywhere, we can preserve both the aesthetic beauty of our countryside and keep wildlife safe.
