June is Cavernoma Awareness Month, and it is especially meaningful to everyone at Access Security Solutions.

In January 2020, our Managing Director, Jim Foster, admitted himself to hospital after experiencing vision problems and severe headaches. Following a series of tests, he was diagnosed with a brainstem cavernoma that had haemorrhaged.

Due to the location of Jim’s cavernoma, it is considered inoperable, meaning he now lives alongside what he affectionately calls “his little bugger” every day.

In the months following his diagnosis, Cavernoma Alliance UK - CAUK provided invaluable support to Jim, his family, and his friends as they learned to adapt to life with this rare condition.

As a way of thanking the charity for the support they received, we are proud to host our Fundraising BBQ Day on 9th July, in aid of Cavernoma Alliance UK and everyone affected by this rare disease.
The event will bring together manufacturers, distributors, installers, and industry partners for a day of networking, product demonstrations, fundraising, and community spirit.

We invite you to join us on 9th July for this important industry gathering and help support Cavernoma Alliance UK, Access Security Solutions, and individuals like Jim. Together, we can raise awareness, provide support, and generate vital funds for this important cause.
