First part of the garden clearance. The removal of a Goat willow tree, bramble and Ivy also removed from the overgrown rear garden.
The large Leylandii Conifer will be removed next week, to renew the fence line for the customer and there neighbour.

Coppicing a few hazel trees for a customer. This allows much more light into the garden. The poles, will be used by myself for a first attempt at a hazel fence……

The Hazel tree is a traditional coppice species used for creating straight poles for fencing, hedging, and garden supports.

A Privet hedge, had to be removed to replace broken fence line.

Over due pruning of the Conifer hedge, with a 15% reduction and thinning of an Acer (Japanese Maple) crown. We removed dead, crossing, or inward-growing branches to improve structure, rather than just shortening branches.
