A follow up from our last post (a month ago 🤦🏽) for a job completed in Loans earlier this year..

Some people just like to have a large area of paving installed along with a large section of artificial turf, and that’s fine, it’s your garden and you pay the money to get what you like best.

But for those that like a bit of colour, this one is for you.

Amazing what adding a few colourful plants and other small features can do to an already massively transformed garden. A luxury outdoor space to enjoy the sunny days we so often get ☀️

Side note: this may not be to everyone’s taste, but if you don’t like it you probably like coffee revels and Turkish delight

Brightening up your garden with plants can improve your mood, lower stress levels, attract wildlife and overall help with mental health.

Another project we completed in Loans, Troon. Shona wanted curves and curves she got. Delighted with how this turned out, we like a bit of colour, nice and light, spacious, easy on the eye, warm, bish bash bosh easy peasy to the Bruce it’s a breezy.

▪️3x border ready for planting
(lovely wee plants n that)

We also lifted the old existing sandstone paving, pressure washed and relaid as a raised patio at the back of the garage, utilising wasted space and turning into a sun trapped private seating area 😍
Overall a fantastic job for a great customer who adores her new garden, as does her wee dog 🐶

A job we completed earlier in the year for returning customers, we previously carried out a full back garden makeover on this property in the summer of 2022, pics of that to follow tomorrow.
This driveway was years out dated, ugly and unsafe around the drainage inspection chambers. Customer opted to go for something different, we like different.
Full new extended driveway done in Serenity porcelain using Anthracite colour to tie in with the back garden. We rebuilt the front doorstep and completely faced off with the same tile.
We installed charcoal edging around the paving at the front and both sides. Finished with Grampian Marble decorative stone against the house for a bit of contrast. Sleepers up the left hand side as a bit of a decorative retainer.
Delighted with the outcome, as were the customers. ✔️

A couple of before pictures for an idea of how this one looked on day one. A massive turnaround on this garden and two delighted customers.

This garden was an eye sore, heavy on the feet with the amount of water it held, making it very unpractical and a no go to walk through if the weather was another other than sunny.

We had to change to design due to levels etc and to allow for good drainage, and we are very glad we did.

Sahara Indian sandstone paving was laid on 3 different levels, finished/retained with treated timber sleepers. Step also constructed using timber sleepers and in-filled with paving. Moray Scottish pebbles with 3 x 600x900 sandstone paving as a path to a raised composite decking area finished in ‘island mist’.

All materials were supplied by MKM Building Supplies - Irvine.

We are very happy with how this job has turned out 🙌🏼💥

Another job done in camel sandstone in Troon, proving to be a popular choice with another few jobs with these to be laid in the coming months.

Lots of curves, lots of cuts, we got our steps in on this one. Job done, happy customer, we go again 🤜🏽🤛🏽

As much as we love a full garden revamp, sometimes a small change makes a huge difference and can be equally as satisfying. This was previously decking, wood was rotting, slippy and dangerous. We ripped that out and replaced it with Camel Sandstone product supplied by .buildingsupplies in Irvine. A brighter, modern and more importantly safer area to relax in the sun when it finally decides to make an appearance.

An old driveway ripped out and replaced with Brindle monoblock. Simple. Better looking. Modern. Not much more to say on this one.

Been very quiet on social media recently so have a bit of catching up to do with posting more jobs we have completed throughout the year.

This one I enjoyed. Two separate patios joined by a curved path all in grey sandstone, with two separate areas done in 30mm artificial turf, one for the grown ups, and one for the wee one to play on with her toys. An ideal, no maintenance, very clean no nonsense garden. 🤜🏽🤛🏽
