If you run a business in construction, chances are your brain rarely switches off. Quotes. Deadlines. Variations. Clients. Site issues. Pricing jobs late into the night and early mornings. Emails before breakfast.

And while the industry moves fast, Mental Health Awareness Week is a good reminder that slowing down occasionally is important too.

The construction trade is the fourth highest profession for stress and pressure related illness’s physically and mentally.

It’s ok to take a break.

Proud to have been part of Marr Rugby Clubs Long Lunch in aid of the My name is Doddie foundation.
Marr Rugby Club is a very special community focused club run solely by unpaid volunteers.
The mini rugby section is now 50 years old and most Saturdays coaches 250-300 children.
I was there 50 years ago !
The Marr Ladies section is going from strength to strength alongside a hugely successful transitional season campaign for the 1st XV.
The season has been defined by the strength of fielding 3 male sides alongside the women’s side.
The youth rugby is also going from strength to strength with some future stars in the making !

Great lightweight needle kit.This helped us achieve a flawless flush finish from the old ceiling to the new without the need for an unsightly down stand.

The team were excited to attend the Ayr V Arbroath game today at Somerset park and thrilled to see a brilliant goal and victory.
