A workout for John and I and friends/customers Rob and Michelle, this afternoon!
7 cubic metres of concrete delivered after lunch.
Spread, levelled and tamped for a stable that Rob’s built.
Finished before dark.

First time laying Copper Slate. Lovely, vibrantly coloured flags although delicate until set in a bed of cement!
Finished off in Cornwall’s first November snow for 20 years.

Lovely weather this week for screening off the rough, old, block walls of a long-standing customer’s neighbour.

Feather edge boards screwed to a sturdy frame on posts set in the ground transformed the look of the bottom of this garden without fixing anything to the blocks.

The lovely, young family in Grampound Road are delighted.

I loved this job! MH is a friend of my family and a hardworking foster Mum to 2 boys. Salt of the Earth type person.

Her old shed was positioned on the raised area, right outside the back door. Blocking the view into the rear garden and causing the garden to seem smaller than it was.

An hour of destruction and it was in the trailer heading for the bonfire.

A new, insulated shed with windows added by John is now in a better position opening up the garden.

Installing some concrete slabs (not my favourite but matches what’s already there) levelled out the raised area and makes it a useable space.

Finished off with a 3m x 2.4m Pergola and time spare to fit an outside tap.

Lovely job! Thank you, as always, to John Shep for his skills and hard work.

When customers you’ve known for years ask you to paint their house it’s difficult to say no. So we didn’t!

Lots of securing of timbers, filling, sanding, painting, filling, sanding, painting…..

The end result is worth it!
The customers are as delighted with the transformation as we are.
