Week 1 done on the Illogan renovation 🙌

We’ve stripped the place right back to bare walls — all the old insulation, plasterboard and joinery are gone 🔨

Steels were measured up today by and the scaffold is going up ready to get the old tiled roof off and start the dormer build!

We’ve given these old barns a new lease of life using Brazilian Grey Green slate

Completed in December ✅

This re-roof project included the installation of 3 Velux windows to bring more natural light into the rear bedroom. We also removed the old cladding, upgraded the insulation, and finished the dormer with new Cedral cladding and a double-glazed window for a clean, energy-efficient result.

We’ve been a little quiet on here recently, but busy on site at our Wheal Rose project.

Second fix is now well underway.

Today we laid 20mm engineered oak flooring in the dressing room, fully bonded using a flexible wood floor adhesive.

This week has also seen all 17 doors hung, with skirting and architraves fitted throughout.

Finally had a dry day to go back and finish our 70sqm roof up in St Austell!

On this project we supplied and fitted a new 2 layer flexible GRP roof system with 600gs/m fibreglass matting.

Plasterboarding is nearing completion at our Wheal Rose project, big shout out to the lads for the big push this week to get the top 2 floors ready for Callum Smith & Chris Beechto make a start on Monday 🤙🏻

Scaffold is now down on our project in Wheal Rose and our 2 sets of 3.5m bifolds have been fitted 👌🏼

We can now focus on getting all the plasterboarding complete ready for the plasters to come in 2 weeks time

We finished up on our 1 bedroom annex project over in Falmouth today!

15mm Supalux Fire board
2x1 Batten
12mm Render Board
Black Upvc fascia and sofit
Roof covering using Brazilian Grey Green slate
