Really enjoyed building this one, the fireplace was originally boarded over and we found a lovely original brick arch, so we tidied it up, repaired the arch and installed a lovely aire 7, hopefully I’ll get a nice shot of it when the rooms completed!

This was a tough job, before and after shots show the process. The customer wanted to keep the marble surround but wanted a larger opening to house a Woodburner.

rowandale, had to have a twinwall insulated flue for the wooden beam here. Lovely traditional fireplace.

Another classic fireplace, this time we installed a ecosy Hampton xl with a limestone surround, all supplied by honed granite hearth and slips by Wearne stone masons. @ Penzance, Cornwall

I love how this turned out, this was a cast iron open fire. We removed the surround and cut out around the curve, opened up the fireplace and discovered some nice rustic brickwork put it all back and installed an Hampton 5
