Goodridge Electrical Limited (GEL) COVID 19 Statement.
To our existing loyal customers and our new customers (welcome!).
Along with the rest of society, we are trying to act responsibly during these times of uncertainty. We have a moral responsibility to protect the welfare of both our employees and our customers, so effectively immediately, will be working to the following rules:
- We will need to know prior to considering any work, whether a client is in self isolation or is experiencing the on-set of COVID 19 symptoms. We reserve the right to defer our services to a later date should this be the case.
- We cannot and will not make any physical contact with any of our clients, so please accept a smile and a polite word from us in place of a hand shake.
- We will be able to work on most outside projects but will need to carefully consider work that is inside.
- We will contact you on the day of the work to enquire whether it is safe for us to attend; please be honest with us in terms of your current health.
- We will fully observe the need to wash our hands regularly through the day, before we enter a client’s premises, through-out our work time and once we leave; we will need your full consent to use your hand washing facilities whilst working on your property.
- We will wear over-shoe protectors upon entering the property.
- We will need your co-operation in observing the 2M social distancing rule whilst we work.
- We can respond to emergency call out work and planned work, but in both cases we will need to be able to comply with the above rules.
- Payments will only be accepted via on-line BACS payment.
This is an unprecedented time in our lives and we like everyone else, are trying to get through this and survive. Life has to go on, but we all need to proceed responsibly, considerately and safely. As long as we continue to be careful and thoughtful, we can work together.
