Introducing our new product from Impuls Kitchens now on display at our Turriff Kitchens showroom. Uncompromising German quality at an entry level price, competitive with the national retailers, but far superior in quality. Ideal for customers looking for a superior kitchen on a tighter budget.
As with our highly successful Schueller kitchens, Impuls kitchens can be supply only or fully fitted. Worksurfaces in laminate for all of our kitchens are cut, edged and mitred to exacting standards before leaving the factory and arrive complete with jointing bolts making them ideal for the DIY enthusiast.
With our top notch CAD design program, our customers can practically see a photo quality render of their finished project. All of those kitchens are put into production on order, all made for the specific customer to their requirements, labelled, loaded on the truck at the factories in Germany and offloaded again at our warehouse. Truly “Factory Direct”.

Before and after pictures of a shower room just completed in Banff. I removed the existing bathroom suite and replaced it with a new walk in shower enclosure from Merlyn on a Kudos 1700mm by 800mm tray. The units were replaced with Utopia furniture incorporating a concealed cistern and back to wall WC. Wetwall all round here once again, with sage green herringbone in the shower area and levanto marble to the remainder of the room. I finally fitted uPVC ceiling panels and Grant Westfield driftwood oak effect flooring making the whole room practically maintenance free other than a wipe down.
All on my own on this job as no electrical work was required so I can assure you I was done in by the end of play, but very happy with end result.

Some before and after photos of our recent kitchen fit at Banff Castle. The original kitchen was quite dated and cluttered with appliances not quite up to scratch for modern catering, so together with the custodians we designed one that would be more user friendly. This one is in Schueller Crystal white matt fronts with concrete grey effect worksurfaces and splashback. It incorporates two large sinks, one with a Quooker boiling water tap with water filter and one smaller separate hand wash basin, two Neff pyrolytic self cleaning ovens, 5 zone induction hob and angled glass recirculating extractor. Space was also left open for a free standing industrial dishwasher to be fitted later.
This was quite a challenge, especially for the electricians who had to run bigger cables from the consumer unit for the more powerful appliances and also the plumbing cause some head scratching 😄. Allan Electrical rose to the challenge though and together with myself and Davie Gordon we got it done. Flooring beautifully laid by The Garret in Macduff.

We are delighted to have been chosen to supply kitchen and storage solutions for Macduff Shipyards new office building. This building is fitted out to a very high standard which reflects the high standard of work carried out by the shipyards, so a Schueller kitchen looks very much at home here.
In the small area we have incorporated a built under fridge, slimline dishwasher, microwave oven and a silgranit sink complete with Quooker boiling water tap. It’s important in a busy workplace that the staff don’t stand around waiting for a kettle to boil, and that won’t be necessary with the instant boiling water from Quooker.
These fronts are in a combination of Stone Grey matt and Ash Nordic effect with worksurfaces in Shell Limestone Graphite effect laminate and a Blanco silgranit sink in anthracite.

Due to upgrading our showroom we have this fantastic utility room display for sale. This has been used, but is in excellent condition.

500mm sink base with Blanco silgranit sink.
633mm raised washing machine unit with storage above and below.
500mm laundry sorting tall unit with 4 laundry baskets.
400mm wall unit and 1200mm wall unit with integrated lighting under.
Backsplash to match worktop with utensil rail and utensils as in picture.
Base and tall units in sand grey, worksurface and splashback in dark steel effect, wall units in burgundy.
All this for £900 plus Vat.
Note, washing machine and Quooker tap are NOT included in sale but can be negotiated separately.

This kitchen was fitted just before Christmas in Aberchirder while the homeowner was off on holiday, which works out really well so long as all the works are thoroughly discussed beforehand. This one is in Fino Matt fronts in Sand Grey, with Glacier White solid surface worktops and splashback, extending into the windowsill and reveals. The customer was very happy with the layout she previously had and requested everything was in the same place. We did offer some other layouts which were considered briefly, but then she opted to keep the same one as she was comfortable with how it worked for her.
The single bowl seamlessly undermounted sink and drainer makes cleaning a dream, and the Quooker combi boiling tap ensures there is plenty of hot water available within seconds, as well as boiling water. Flooring is by Kahrs luxury vinyl tiles in Wentwood.
This one fitted entirely by myself, with Mark Riach on the electrics. Just the painting to be done after this picture was taken.

Happy New Year everyone, from a very cold but beautiful London. Due to the weather in the North East our flights north have been cancelled this afternoon and rescheduled for tomorrow. We will not be opening on the 5th as planned but all going well we will be back in business on Tuesday 6th. Hoping all will keep safe and sound until then.

Once again Christmas has arrived and Turriff Kitchens and Bathrooms have closed our doors for our annual Christmas break, opening again on 5th January. And once again it’s been a turbulent year, with very sadly one of our flooring suppliers going into administration only a few weeks before Christmas. My heart goes out to all the workers there who are left with an extremely uncertain future, all the while looking on at seemingly everyone else celebrating and not having a care in the world. The reality though, is that whatever door we open in the world there lies stress and worry behind it. The car we drive, the house we live in, the clothes we wear may seem mundane to us, but are all beyond the wildest dreams of many on this Earth today. And we take them for granted and wish we could afford better ones.
It has been said that the only certainties in this life is death and taxes. A tongue in cheek remark maybe, but with a ring of truth to it.
In this picture of the nativity scene we can see on the right the shepherds, who were the very first people to be told of our Saviour’s birth. We may wonder why the angels announced this wonderful news firstly to the dregs of society as these men would have been at that time. Living a rough life out in the fields with the animals, tending to their needs and even sleeping with them. They would most likely have been looked down on by the religious leaders at the time, and if they had decided to attend the synagogue I’ve read that there would be so much cleansing rituals to go through before they were accepted that probably the animals would have been more welcome than them. However, with this news announced by the angels, the shepherds were able to come exactly as they were into the presence of the Son of God. He came for all who believe, whatever their circumstances or financial status. Billionaire or pauper, all were created in God’s image with free will to make our life choices, and all have fallen away due to the temptations of this world.
While death and taxes are pretty certain in this life, we also have the absolute assurance that a Saviour was born for us in the most lowly place imaginable, and is waiting with open arms to welcome home all who accept him as their Lord, whatever we have done or whatever our social standing may be.
Wishing all our friends and customers a very happy and peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the coming year.

Some before and after photos of a kitchen and utility room we fitted in Turriff a few months ago. This one is in Eucalyptus Green Matera fronts with anti fingerprint coating with contrasting fronts in the kitchen and utility room in Elba Concrete White Grey effect. The worksurfaces are 20mm Calacatta Oro Quartz with undermounted Blanco sink and integrated drainer grooves. We have a full Neff appliance package which includes 2 pyrolytic self cleaning ovens and a downdraft hob on the peninsula. Kahrs LVT flooring completes the picture.
This was a great project to work on. Kitchen fitted by Davie Gordon joinery, utility room and all plumbing by myself, electrical work by Mark Riach. The Quartz was beautifully templated and fitted by CJ Stone. Designed by Vikki in the showroom.
