The house was built in 1886 and so the suspended timber ground floors don’t have any insulation in them. It’s been a hot one in some, not all, places; we’ve had a decent amount of sun shine this year and as a result I have installed an extensive solar thermal system on my garage roof to harvest some of that free energy.
