Here's an external from a few weeks back. I scraped, cleaned, primed with red oxide primer, and then gave these downpipes 2 coats of Hammerite. I also washed down and painted the wood round some of the windows.

I have been mostly outside since my holiday (which was amazing!) And there will be pictures of my external work to follow, but I have done this kitchen as well. It's nice not to be covered in factor 50 and dust for a change. The usual ceiling and woodwork paints and Dulux Trade soft sheen in purbeck stone

Here's a hall, stairs and landing in did. Turns out I forgot to take pictures from the top down. That's a built in bookshelf ar the top. Albany Paint and Wallpaper durable matt on walls and ceiling, Johnstone's Trade Paints aqua guard on all twh woodwork.

I'm delighted to tell you that I've renewed my membership with Uckfield Chamber of Commerce for another year. Really enjoyed my 1st year. Met lots of great people and had some fantastic food, especially at the dinner in the Houses of Parliament, which was an amazing experience.

Apologies for not posting in ages, I've been very busy with work and Mrs the Painter and myself have moved house, I've been to Ayr, Eastbourne, Brighton, and London, and we've both had flu/covid, and our kitten Betty has been ill too. I did this job back in March, I skimmed the whole area, apart from the downstairs ceiling, with Dalapro roll nova to cover artex, then it all got a mist coat, followed by 2 coats of Dulux Trade diamond matt. The windows and sills were sanded and stained with Albany Paint and Wallpaper durable wood stain. It was hard work and there are lumps and bumps, as is to be expected with a house of it's age, but the customer is happy with yhe outcome

This was last weeks job. Once again I've not taken a single before photo 🤦‍♂️. But the finished article is all we really need here. I stripped old paper, sorted some cracks and blemishes, there's a big crack across the ceiling which I did my best with considering the possibility of asbestos, I repainted the dado rail downwards in Crown Trade Paint acrylic eggshell, the ceiling in Albany Paint and Wallpaper AF1, the woodwork in Johnstone's Trade Paints aqua guard, and then hung some lovely wallpaper to finish the job. There's a video that I'll post later in the week.
