Beautiful raised patio area completed this week in East Sussex.
We removed a completely rotten L shaped decking (gutted I forgot to get before pictures) and replaced with this raised patio, in stunning Raj blend sandstone. We incorporated a storage area underneath, as requested by customer. This required paving to be laid on a supporting block and beam floor system. We patched in the missing paving to the rear and matched into existing patio and finally built 2 sets of steps.
Customer to add handrail and door on storage area.

Nice cast stone door surround we installed earlier in the year.

We removed an existing timber surround and replaced with and new, custom made, wet cast stone surround. The blockwork in the gable will be rendered and painted by others.

Just completed this inglenook revamp in East Sussex.
We started by battening and overboarding the original wall and fireplace opening, using required fireboard, then brick slipped the wall and pointed with a heat resistant, lime mortar.
We then laid a new slate tiled hearth and new oak beam. The blockwork on the right is to center burner and will be plastered and painted by others. Who will also touch in around beam.
Log burner also installed by others.
Both us and the customer happy with the results

Got this one over the line today.

We have been working on this property, on and off, for the last couple of years. Starting with the stone cladding to the underground extention, and finishing with this beautiful landscaping project.

We built concrete hollow retaining walls to create the different level terraced areas. Retaining walls were clad in .handmadebrick with stone panels, all laid and pointed on lime mortar.
We then laid indian sandstone paving on all 3 levels and built steps and a bbq area.

Very happy with the outcome. Looking forward to getting back once the grass seed has grown, to take some drone pictures.

This 4 column portico was set within a recess. Slabs laid with aco slot drains. Curved walls and steps to be added at al later date. Portico looks great amongst the other cast stone elements on this impressive new build. Looking forward to finished results.
