Completed Garden transformation in Tunbridge wells, delivered by Steve and his team. Access always a challenge. This one a line of Terrace houses on split level, so no chance of going through the house, so we accessed through the woods at the back. Got good use of trailer so we could take away waste and bring materials in as no where to keep skip and materials. Well done 💪🚀

Garden Transformation over at a new build in East Hoathly. Took the site slabs up and replaced with a porcelain slab chosen by the home owner. This one was very much a joint effort with myself and the home owner to bring there new build garden a very much needed upgrade to match the house. We introduced sleepers to tier the garden and make some planters at the rear to help levels. We laid a top patio with decorative stone, used old slabs on a lower level for a shed base. Then created a curved patio at the house boarder by a block paver. Finally we added a nice quality top soil to level garden and laid turf.

One year ago, we took the leap and launched DA Clark Groundworks.

Looking back, it was a tough decision to leave a secure, well-established role and step into the unknown. But with the way the larger housebuilding market was at the time, it felt like the right moment to take a chance and build something of our own.

Amy has supported me every step of the way. After plenty of family chats (usually over a glass of wine or a Corona!), we decided to go for it.

It hasn’t all been plain sailing. There have been plenty of highs and lows, and we’ve learned something new almost every day. But we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the support of our family, friends, clients and everyone who has backed us along the way.

We’ve also had the pleasure of working alongside some fantastic lads. Over the past year we’ve built a loyal, hardworking and conscientious team, and they’re the foundation of everything we’re trying to achieve as we continue to grow.

Here are just a few clips of the projects we’ve completed during our first year. We’ve worked across Sussex for some brilliant domestic and commercial clients, and we’re proud that so much of our work has come through repeat business and recommendations.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported DA Clark Groundworks during our first year. We genuinely appreciate every opportunity.

Recently completed a garden renovation for a lovely family in Uckfield. Garden was on a horrible slope with no chance of turf growing due to minimal top soil on clay sub soil. We levelled up the wall so we could have a top garden that was level and usable, we added another slab out and then sub base and sand down followed by installing artificial grass. We then installed decking to the lower section of garden and linked the 2 with decking steps. Finally a sleeper planter helped with retaining top garden and added a nice area for 3 of the home owners plants. A variety of materials and surfaces used to help with budget but adding a nice contrast. Now they can enjoy there summer. 😎 ☀️

Little patio extension in Uckfield. Customer decided to save on a skip and use top soil in planters. Patio finished and ready for her to enjoy the summer.

Recent garden renovation complete in Uckfield. Out came old slabs and some wall, built new wall to tier garden. Then we put in a quarter circle planter, 60 m2 of porcelain paving and re levelled added top soil and turfed 90 m2 landscaped garden area.
