Part 3.5 of Stairs i probably shouldn't of attempted 😐

cleaning up the backer tiles and finishing the first 3 steps and an insight into why im using pad felt to lay them on.

other than stated in the video, the first step I failed, terribly... it was off the nosing by a good 5mm from one side to the other and the time each step takes, thats not acceptable. so pad felt came to mind as I can set the pattern on it and twist the whole thing at once when its done to make it square.

any one else have any different ideas of how to get around that? comment please as its not daft if it works 😅

Bespoke Staircase Part 3!

The gravity of this project is just about dawning on me 🤦‍♂️

3rd steps field completed today. This is going to take a few weeks.

But nothing worthwhile doing is going to be quick, nor is it something I can or want to rush.

Possibly the most time consuming work ive ever done will not break me 💪🏻🤣

1st winder done, scribe tiles need a little work but im tired and too hot, try a little more tomorrow then a few days rest

Fully bespoke staircase Part 1

im trying to recreate the stairs ive seen on Pinterest in my own home

every bit is hand cut down from J2flooring naked oak, holburn oak and chapel oak.

2/3 hours per step and around 150 pieces pers step. x 12 👀
