We love to create beautiful handbuilt kitchens for our clients and often create beautiful coordinating spaces too. Bootrooms are an extremely functional part of a home, a place to store wellies, coats, dogs beds and hats.

Picking your paint colours for your kitchen can be challenging - there are so many colours to choose from it can be overwhelming.

Here's 3 of our top tips for choosing your colours - but don't worry if you change your mind on your paint colour after a while - because our kitchens are all hand painted, it's no problem to change the colour for you!

1: Use our sample wood swatches: We will paint up different samples for you to compare on our wooden swatches - not only does this give you the chance to see the paint on the material your kitchen will be made from, it also gives you a much larger colour swatch to really see the colour.

2. Match the undertones: choose colours that compliment eachother between your worktops, cupboards and flooring.

3. Use lighting to help: position the colour swatches in the actual space that your kitchen will be in. Light can really change how a colour looks. We also recommend putting the colours in a vertical position rather than laying them flat as again, the light will hit differently in different positions.

Why do our clients choose us?
Often, it is because they want something specific in their kitchen: a bespoke element that can not be picked from a catalogue. They want cupboards that fit with no filler panels, elegantly designed cabinets, a unique nook that the cupboard needs to be scribed to fit exactly.

Mr and Mrs Cartwright wanted a pantry in the kitchen, but big enough to walk into. A space to showcase ingredients, not hide them away. And we delivered exactly their vision! These walk in pantry cupboards are a real celebration of cooking and store cupboard ingredients. Nothing is hidden away, but rather celebrated in their kitchen. Which fits Mrs Cartwright perfectly - as she is a chef and regularly hosts cooking demonstrations in her beautiful kitchen.

We love the dark red against the light doors and window frames, it looks stunning!
