Great service is built by great people, and we're proud to have Arthur as one of our Counter Sales Assistants at Total Plumbing Carmarthen. 🚿
Each month, we select someone to feature in our Staff Spotlight, recognising their hard work, commitment, and contribution to the business.
Usually, the answers come back thoughtful and professional… but then there’s Arthur. 👀
Known and loved by both customers and our teams for his personality, his responses had us laughing that much, we couldn’t not share them… even if they are a little unhinged.
What is your role at LBS?
"I'm not entirely sure... possibly punching bag?"
When did you join the team?
"Well, it started when my dad told me to stop being a waster and get a job. He asked around, I applied, and thankfully, I really enjoy it here! So that's a win. 💪"
What do you enjoy about your job?
"Making people laugh! Just kidding, it's the rush of the plumbing world."
Do you have any hobbies?
"I make music 🎶 . I also draw."
If you could eat only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
"A single onion. 🧅"

Tell us about a moment where you felt really appreciated at work.
"I got £5 for finding a code for a tap cartridge 🤑. It is probably the highlight of my life."
What did you want to be growing up?
"Someone who did very little work and got everything for nothing... I failed."
Who do you work with that makes your day feel brighter?
"Perry the platypus. He just gets me."
(Perry is a stuffed animal, found in the Carmarthen Showroom. 🤦)
How do you maintain a positive outlook in life?
"Every day I look in the mirror and bask in my own glory." 🪞
Tell us about your self-care routine.
"Cold showers. 🥶 I could take on anyone after a cold shower. Adrenaline is power."
