Mk 2 of the snooker cue inspired guitar neck! Finished rough carving this neck last night, after having to scrap the last one due to imperfections in the ash. But wow the bog oak goes perfectly with the curly maple, stay tuned for the finished piece!

A snooker cue inspired spliced neck, English Ash from Boughton hall Northampton with Fenland bog oak headstock! It's going to look awesome after some grain-filling and finish!

The making of a snooker cue, made from British timber! A beautiful piece of English Ash grown just down the road in Northampton, with 4500 year old Fenland bog oak spliced into the butt (as an alternative to ebony).

Very pleased with the result! 8.5mm brass tip and weighing 460g.
