It is illegal for an unregistered person to carry out work on any domestic gas appliance.
All engineers carry a Gas Safe ID card, which shows the type of work they are qualified to do and whether their qualifications are up to date.
So don't cut corners and put your family at risk, or think you have to pay absurd amount's to companies like currys to install your new appliance!
